Located in the old prelacy at the Stična Cistercian Abbey, The Slovene Museum of Christianity presents the main Slovene museum institution for collecting, studying and exhibiting movable religious cultural heritage. The museum offers two permanent exhibitions which present rich material and spiritual legacy of Christianity in the area. Visitors are also amazed by a gothic Cloister and the basilica of the Sorrowful Mother of God.
