An oval relief depiction of St. Francis Xavier. The saint is depicted waist-up and is wearing a priest vestment. In his right hand, he is holding a cross and pressing it to his chest. He is saluting with his left hand. There is a halo around his head. According to oral tradition, it was made by Ivan Pengov Senior. In 1907, Pengov took over Andrej Rovšek’s fine art workshop, where he subsequently made stone and wooden sacral and tombstone statutes in the spirit of historicism.
